the log entry doesn't happen until the download is completed... so yep your safe

if you login as admin, it makes an entry in the log
delete the log
download a file -> once completed it makes a log
delete the log
and leave :)
 
It wont enter in the logs until youve finished the download.
Assuming you cleared the logs as soon as you logged in ;)
 
spotted this on the SlaveHack forum, he's thinking about adding (real money) donations to the game to get better features as his server is taking a hammering.
numbers on the left are in euro's

0 Online players cap. at 600*
5 You can use 1 of the 100 extra slots for donators when logging in.
7.5 Forum signature
12.50 Be able to add a few comments to slaves at the slaves page.
10 You can use 1 of the 250 extra slots for donators when logging in.
15 Forum avatar
20 You can use 1 of the 500 extra slots for donators when logging in.
22.50 No in-game advertisements
25 Always be able to login
30 Forum search option
40 Be able to add text which is displayed when people connect to your IP. ('website')

anybody fancy giving me a decent firewall and antivirus? :(

every time i download one now it just dies, i try to reconnect to the machine and it says it doesn't exist. :(

i had a level 0.6 AV last night too :(

Goto www.mirc.com and download + install the client. When you run it for the first time you'll need to enter a few details.. username etc. Don't bother putting a real email in though.
When you get to the Server tab, under Networks make sure Quakenet is highlighted.
When connected to Qnet then type in "/join #slavehack ocuk" into the chat box at the bottom :)
