Flippin nora this game is challenging.

I swear I remove my entries from logs every single step I take but I'm obviously not fast enough. I've no more than turned around twice than I'm suddenly infected with two viruses!

Don't.. and I'll repeat this in bigger letters:

DON'T do ANYTHING else when you've got an existing process running.

It ****** me off initially when I kept having to re-download a file, then I realised that even just opening the access logs in a different tab, or looking at my software or hardware resulted in the process stopping, even if not visibly.

Hmm.. maybe if I'm bored this weekend I might knock up some kind of simple php/mysql db to use for co-ordinating. Need a spreadsheet if nothing else to deal with all these IPs I'm nabbing from access logs :eek:

At the moment I'm using a text file that I'm storing in a hidden location on my webspace that I can FTP to. Visible at work that way too :D
 
I could use some help getting set up again. I had all the basics and a few slaves spamming but someone came along and deleted all my software, every time i try to put anything back on it just gets deleted again :mad:

Seems there's always someone who doesn't want to play by the rules, now we lose all the development time the guy puts into the game as he has to spend 110% of his time fighting botters and cheaters :rolleyes:

It gets me how some people just can't enjoy games at face value and have to cheat and get an advantage over others to feel like its worth their time..

Change your IP, change your password, start from beginning again, its about the best option you've got. If you're really stuck you may need to format your hdd and start again.

Ack.. been hacked again. Stupid muppet left logs though :D

that's what i did last night, formatted my hdd.

someone then uploaded a firewall for me and that helped a LOT.

suddenly got antivirus / firewall / waterwall and slowly building up.
