Back in this morning after being owned so will reset IP, password and get the latest and greatest software. Annoying about the IRC bot thing so will have to go for player targets.

finding it really tough to get started. such a pain to have stuff removed etc.
and still cant find a firewall, got AV then someone deleted it. clearing the logs just isnt fast enough when someone is trawling the servers just copying and pasting IP's into a spreadsheet.

managed to get a waterwall though. will happily swap if someone wants to upload an av and a firewall for me

now all i need to do is AV these viruses, change my IP, and my bank password and comp password.
think i was upto about 100 euros then someone got my stuff

positive i cleared my local logs.

too much to do!

Nps, it's uploading now. Clear your own PC's log as often as you can, I can see your bank account number in there. Wiped for now (your log not your account lol).

team OcUK did some serious damage last night

hopefully we can get all of Mad's stuff tonight now we upgraded his line to 2mbit ADSL.

just checked mine this morning and i lost all but 1 of my slaves, only made 9 euro's from 1am to 9am

is it best to change ip straight away or remove the virii thats infected your PC first?

Hey peeps

I've been playing this since yesterday but keep having people hack me to drop stuff onto my machine. Does anyone have an IP that has a firewall on it since all the NPC machines seem to have none? I would be most grateful for one

Otherwise, what an awesome game! Loads of fun and can be quite intense sometimes

Heres a guide as to how to start over when you get hacked:
Hack the freeware site. Get the stuff off there.
Go to 255.0.255.0, hack it, get the stuff from there.
Go to H-Ring, crack it, get the waterwall and other goodies.
Go to the second IP from Important.txt in 1.1.1.1 (I think it's 251.153.56.29).
Hack that - you can with the new waterwall you got from H-ring.
Get the upgrades.
Then go to 56.195.92.143, get the warez sharing files and the updated cracker.
Next is 57.195.92.143. Here you get vspam 0.4.
184.182.224.6 for Firewall 0.7

If you follow this you should have a waterwall 0.7, firewall 0.7, hide/seek programs 0.4, warez 0.3, and spam 0.4 as well as mailer 0.6.

I also now need a new AV program since some dude hacked my PC and left a file called GOOD EVENING.TXT on it saying my system had been compromised. I guess this has something to do with the fact that there are log files on NPC PC's of 1gb in size and I can't delete them without leaving the PC doing it all day.

strugglin to get a beter cracker and av atm i havent been attacked thou for nearly 2days but have 2 viruses so need av

you need high crack software to complete all of this i cant crack H-ring with brute force.03

IRC is the way guys, it means we can all pass stuff around and also if someone gets hacked we have a really fun time zerging the attacker...

Yesterday some guy caught me on his machine and started updating his log saying he'd got me, when he found I had a good FW he said "okay I elave you alone as you have good defense" then I posted his IP and we zerged him.. Within 30s we'd hidden all his stuff and put about 6 viruses on his machine

Working as a team also helps with attacks on NPC machines as someone can sit and keep clearing the log constantly to cover our guys getting in... mucho fun!!
