That's interesting, because I was actually impressed by the lack of popup. Were you running on max settings?
It is to prepare for the Zodiac DLC coming very soon in Christmas. Every sodding DLC results in forced downloads weather you like it or not. Bloody hate that :/
No. Most things were maxed but it was custom settings with a couple of things turned down to maintain high framerate (type of AA and SSAO, something like that?). Nothing that should have influenced popup (textures were maxed out including high res dlc, max draw distance etc). I'd load the game to check but it now needs to download a 4.5GB update which would take over 3 hours on my connection. Both VRAM and RAM had plenty free. Only thing I can think is maybe it couldn't stream the textures off the disk fast enough as it is installed to a mechanical HD but even so when you have so much free VRAM and RAM the game should be preloading them much earlier.
Worst (non-flying) game I've played for texture popup in a long time, probably since playing Vice City with framerate cap disabled and vsync off.
Go out for a cruise around the sea in a boat, line yourself up with the shore and come in from a fair distance out, it is very noticeable.

I get it when in a boat otherwise don't see it.
Having trouble on the second last mission, can't get past the QTE with the spacebar to stop you falling of the scaffold, no matter what I try I always fall off. Any ideas?

just finished this last night, enjoyed it from start to finish 
(main story ive done, need to do the extras), that Dlc looks pretty cool too!.. as for the pop ups, i didn't incure any, i only had one crash and that was towards the end of the game, otherwise it all ran perfectly fine on fairly high settings too (7850) very good game

Been waiting since release day for this.Downloading patch now.
New dlc looks awesome too.
It still stutters.....GODAMMITT!
Anyone know how to fix this??

So you played about 10 minutes then? Theres having a a worthy opinion and then there's just being a tool-sound like the later to me.
