How the hell is this possible without a fully reclining seat? Some people mention 'getting some kip on the plane' and cabin crew offering out blankets for people who want to "sleep" but for me its incomprehensible . the only way i can think of is super glueing the back of your head to the seat so when you do nod off ** head doesnt drop down

oh btw i had a great holiday :D

I find the best way to sleep on planes is to unfold the food tray from the seat infront. Slap a pillow on it, and just collapse fowards onto it with your arms crossed below your head. Not the cumfiest of positions, but then you dont have to worry about the vertical backs on the seats! I'm about 5 foot 10/11. So its not really ideal if your much taller as it was a bit of a squeeze for me! lol

Genius....

When you sit next to a right minger, trust me, it's very easy :D

If your in any luck your seat will have the headrests which the sides come up to stop your head falling side to side, when you have that it's a doddle.

Yeah planes are impossible to sleep in. I've always been a really light sleeper, but I can't understand how anyone can sleep on a plane. Bright cabin lights, loud engines and annoying passengers. And the fact that the seats don't seem to be able to accomodate anyone over 6 feet tall.

But it's perhaps I've only used budget airlines.

I've always found it really easy to sleep on planes, even in a seat that's virtually bolt upright. No idea why - I sleep very easily on trains too.

Im 6ft5, I really try and avoid planes at my any cost. When push comes to shove its normally an isle seat then slant your body so you can gain extra leverage and lean towards the middle of the isle so your position is angled acrossed the seat. Very touchy subject, if i was going to auz i would seriously consider 1st class.

Don't sleep the night before the flight and sleep for however long on the flight then watch films for the rest of the flight when you wake up.

The toilet has more room for that kind of activity...
