Smartwatch Thread (news/apps/updates)

What features do you use you watch for? If you're only losing 8% battery life in 24hrs then you're not using all features or disabled a few?

I get solid 3 days out of mine.

Agreed. I have almost all features turned on and I'm getting about 3 days use before needing a charge.

You're both missing the point, I have all features turned on as far as I know.
We will all have different things we do with the watch.
Just try it, turn it on and see how much it goes down in that mode, for me it isn't that much different than the dual display but obviously looks better.

What mode? Always on? I've used that since the start. I wouldn't buy a watch that didn't have it... I understand your point being it doesn't make much difference. I guess we're just trying to give some balance to the actual battery life comment.

It makes me wonder what the dual display mode is for when Always On uses very little battery and you can use a proper face !!
Just to make you understand my confusion, when I was first buying a watch I was buying the Huawei but somebody wrote that they wouldn't have a watch without dual display.
Since I bought it I've used it on dual display but on Saturday tried the ALWAYS ON Mode and I'm still on 90% so I have no idea what the dual display is for.

Well, as we've said, most will get 3 days from this. Dual Display pushes it past 7 days I think.

I think we are discussing a different mode, there are three -
Normal display, dual display and Always On.
Dual display shows a black digital clock with other stuff I can't see where Always On shows your face of choice in black and white.

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. It's dual display because there are literally two screens. The middle image is literally a different screen (LCD I think) which takes much less battery. The other two are from the LED screen.

Here's another problem I'm having, first thing this morning I was on 81% from 4pm Saturday which was my last charge, just come to put it on and it needs charging.
Since I've had it I've never seen a % below 80% but I've had 3 to 5 days out of it!!

Why does it need charging if it's at 81%? Or are you saying all of a sudden it's showing 15% or something? If so, that's more in line with the rest of us I guess. Maybe it's just taking time to calibrate the battery?

Since I've had it, it seems to go from 81% (which is 3 to 5 days use) and goes straight down to "I need charging now" and the watch turns off.
It's on 15% now but it's been on charge around 15 minutes.

Good news from Mobvoi. Ticwatch Pro 3 will be getting the new wear os update later on this year. Yay
