Smartwatch Thread (news/apps/updates)

what are you all doing with your Google play voucher. It is sitting in playstore for me but don't know where I can use it, nothing i want to buy from playstore
 
Same here i have £150 in the play store & spent an hour today looking for something to use it on & found nothing of interest.
Google should never have moved the music store, i could have bought some music.
 
Bought a Samsung Galaxy 4 watch.

Noticed that it automatically tracks exercise. No idea where its storing this but is it possible to store it in Google Fit? Any downsides to doing this?

The problem is that apps are getting rid of premium (to get rid of Ads)and are introducing subscriptions which doesn't help when you have play credit.
I can't find anything to buy on Google play store so I'll probably end up buying some books for the Mrs!

Can't you use the credit on subscriptions? I was hoping to use my £75 toward a year of Disney+

You can use the play balance for quite a few subscriptions.
i used my £75 to buy.
Facer 1 year premium sub.
1 year Google play pass.
1 year zedge+ sub.
I am also paying my tile sub with it.
I also bought a load of premium games for my tablet.
Civ6 and all dlcs.
Baulders gate 2 enhanced.
and a load of other games.

And a load of other items. at the end of the day its all free. I am probably in the minority that i actually preferred the credit rather than the charger. i have very good anker wireless chargers so i would not of needed that. so for me the voucher code was better for me.
 
Does the Watch 4 give you Spoken audio feedback on workouts?

Like is you did a run or waling workout & you had done a Mile or 2 mile etc?

Mu Huawei watch did this but cannot find it on the Watch 4, if it does it where do you turn it on?
 
Poor update tbh doesn't fix both the gmail notification bug & the 0 percent deep sleep tracking bug, but that maybe an issue with Samsung Health who knows.
Find out tomorrow if it broken GPay. :/

Samsung pay still works and I only used sleep tracking twice as don't like wearing the watch over night

Have you tried the Ringke 46mm screen protectors ? I had 1 on my Galaxy watch and it had a about 1mm around the edge bit of fluff got in but easily cleaned with a cotton bud
