Smoking...

Neither of those make my clothes smell plus I and other people benefit from them.

You can argue it all you like to try and justify it but it's a disgusting habit which is inconsiderate to other people.

So is masturbating on the train with a gun aimed at the passengers, but I bet you don't say anything to the people who do that.
 
I thought smoking actually increased the heart rate therefore the reasoning behind smoking to relax is flawed?

Never smoked in my life so I don't know how true this is!
 
I started a week ago and could quit anytime, I just find it helps me relax, I don't have access to any more than 2-3 a day so 3'would be the maximum, some days I wouldn't have any, could it really effect me ? I have a slow healing liver already does this matter ?

This just reminds me of the old "Quitting smoking is easy, I've done it loads of times" saying...
 
Smoking relaxing you after only a week is only a placebo effect, smoking does not relax you, its a stimulant, the only reason smokers "feel" relaxed is because their body has a physical addiction and needs the nicotine so when you have a cigarette and give your body that hit it relaxes you again, after 21 cigarettes maximum over a week period you will not have developed this level of physical addiction.

So as I said any relaxing effect you gain is in your imagination.
 
Smoking is like, linked to IQ. The more you smoke, the stupider you get. People that smoke lots are really dumb and stupid. WHen you don't smoke at all you are scientifically more cleverer. Thats science fact. It has been proven in lots of studys. Trollface.
 
That's being anxious and jittery you feel better not because you're relieving stress but because your getting that next hit of nicotine. The addiction drives that and is the cause of that anxious feeling in the first place.

It's a stimulant, it helps you relax in the sense that you can focus your thoughts.

Smoking makes you feel "better" because you were previously deprived of a substance you are addicted to.

People who don't smoke feel like it all the time - it's feeling normal.

It feels subjectively nice because you felt bad before. If you give up, and break the addiction, you then feel like that all the time again.
 
Parents don't smoke :/ is there an alternative to cigarettes which you can still inhale, I just get stressed a lot

There is al alternative its called a personal vaporizer or for people who are not familier with those (E-ciggerettes)

If your going to quit, then quit. If you need something that is not a cancer stick then this is the safer alternative.

I thought I would just post another option for you.

How ever If I was you I would just quit out right as smoking is a habit which is horrible. I quit over 6 months ago now and feel much better for it.
 
smoking is the most pointless **** in the world....

And it's all just down to a habit.

Think about it, you spend money (A lot of money...) to destroy your lungs / fitness and die early oh and not to mention age your skin badly and ruin your teeth for no GAIN in any shape or form.

Retarded habit don't even start.
