Snow causing you any driving problems?

If they're not comfortable with it they should'nt be making the journey, or go on roads I'm not on :p

Your so sure that the roads were perfect and there was no chance of a slippery patch ?

On the roads I was on, yes.

Not so ninja edit: I have no problem with people going slower than usual, just excessively slow. The 20mph was in my Ka, which is so out of calibration the 20mph was probably more like 13/14mph.

cant get out of my driveway :(

This morning i did easially, went to work, roads were a bit slippy.

Everyone decided to go home early, got home parked the car, then when i wanted to go out again the car was slipping all over the place. (dont think gravel and snow mix).

Took me a while to get out, but i'm not driving the car until the weather is nice again.

Why on earth is your speedo out to that degree?

drove home (from my parents) this morning and had a bit of fun - 6 inch on the drive and local roads wasn't too bad - packing snow yourself actually gives pretty good traction unless you push it (like i would do that)

The majority of the journey was fine but the last strech to my house is like a concrete rollercoaster, and hardly used. I really didn't think i would make it at one point and nearly dumped the car after facing up a hill and just sliding 90 degrees to the way i was facing missing a parked car my inchs

Then tried to turn around on a frozen carpark that was on a slight slope, gave up and had to reverse back out :D Reversing sideways is a new one on me :D

Don't know but it's my second Ka and is out by almost the same amount, have to do 85mph indicated on the motorway as that is 71mph GPS :o

Had a fair bit here today, but I managed to get to work this morning without any problems. Did have the rear end slide out at one point but was going so slow it didn't matter.

But when I left work the car wouldn't damn move. :D

As the carpark was still covered when I arrived I parked on top of it all, so when I tried to reverse later the wheels just span. Had the dig rear wheels out infront of everyone. :o

We still have loads on the ground here so unless it warms quickly it's going to be causing problems tomorrow as well.

Got called out earlier for an alarm and was annoying getting stuck behind people doing 20mph in a 60 where the snow had melted and was just wet with a bit of slush at the side of the road. Luckily the roads were pretty empty so didn't come up against many people like this.

I was following a guy like this doing 15 in a 30 however i thought okay taking it easy fair enough.. then it turns into NSL and he starts doing 40 i mean WTF? same road same conditions

Got about the same snow here as NickXX. Needless to say i'm not taking the MR2 out today  :o
I did 65mph in mine up the motorway in thick snow today, fun part was trying to get into works car park (big hill) :D.

Then I did some sideways action once in the car park. :D

I live on top of a very steep hill. This morning I came down it sideways & in half an hour I intend to go up it in the same fashion.

Pedestrains and small animals - you have been warned.

:D

£5 on you slithering around at the bottom before eventually reversing, or walking, up :p

i loved driving in the snow last year, handbrakers in car parks woot woot! :)
I handbrake turn (spun) my car into a spot today in the local carpark... it was almost executed perfectly but I had to move it again slightly to line it up, ruining the "cool" factor of just getting out like it was no big deal doing it. :(

I keep expecting ABS to kick in and then realising.........damn it's an optional extra. So start stamping the brakes:D

I had a scary moment with a single lane bridge and a steep lane leading. Ended up with me stamping the brakes letting it stall and then wedging myself up a mud embankment.

It was that or hit the X5 on it's way through the bridge:D

All Hail FWD.........Hip Hip! :p

There's no real snow here but my parents live out in the sticks so drove even as a learner in the snow. Didn't find it particularly problematic just used the gears and tried not to panic when things were not entirely in control! ;)
