Mercs and bmw's rwd, bad news. I want my scoob back :p

Lol, why on earth are you on the wolverhampton road, i thought you lived in halesowen?

Fancy dropping of a pizza in dudley? :p

Wow, sounds like you guys have been having fun. I'm only 20 or so miles from paradigm and Firestar and it's been fine here (and I'm in quite a high area of Manchester).

Bit of snow on the path, none on the roads. Car has been sat outside for a week (been off ill) and the snow hasn't even touched it.

Here's hoping that we don't get the brunt of it when I go back to work next weet.

/Awaits more stuck car pictures

Oh right  Im normally in and around the northwest a bit now as a lot of my clients are up there, i was staying at the castleton hotel, tiny place but cracking food

I was actually slightly lost in heywood the other night went for a run in the freezing cold, took a few wrong turns and bloody hell I didnt have a clue where i was, not good, i managed to run about 10 miles tho  the locals were no use either, I swear if I had listened to one bloke I would have ended up in liverpool

It can be, but it can also be a way back to halesowen if you use the other side of the road;)

Oh yeah, but that would be common sense, which for me went out of the window when I got tomtom. :p

Well i had fun. 100 miles in 3 hours, although that sounds like a huge amount to some of those here

My journey home from uni usually takes 4 and a half hours, took me 6 today and it was not at all fun in the MR2! Foot down in anything lower than 3rd and the back end steps out big style. I had a Focus ST in front of me that struggled to get up a steep corner to get onto the A44. Me? I just floored it in first and went up sideways, much to the amusement of the chaps pushing the ST :D

Nice one! Next time you're up this way, a few of us should meet up and go for a beer or something. Always nice to put a face to a name,

Heywood centre is a bit of a dump. Rochdale isn't much better either. Don't think I've actually seen Castleton Hotel before. Is it anywhere near The Royal Toby?

I have driven in to the oncoming lane because TomTom told me to. It owns me.

Never had any bother. I actually tried to get the tail out the other day (totally clear bit of road) and it wouldnt unstick, but i wasnt going very fast.

Yeah just up the road, rochdale is a dump? never :p yeah next time im up i will drop you a line dude, i normally stay round rochdale or sometimes in saddleworth, hotels are nice and cheap and the foods good, which equals a happy boss, which equals him not paying too much attention to my fuel card bill, plus im close to all the motorways :p

tried getting to work thursday morning leaving at 5:45am. 45 minutes later I had covered the same distance i could cover by walking for 15mins.

Tried getting back home and was presented with this!

Picy doesn't really show it well but its steep! Round about 4 inches deep as well. Took me 90 mins to clear half of it thursday afternoon thinking i'd get a run up and be ok.... was very wrong.. hit the snow and stopped :p

Bit more salt, 2nd gear, dropped clutch, floored acceleration, lots of wheelspin and slush flying everywhere and i was at the top! \o/

Came back today and on the back roads where i can always do 70 easily, was reduced to 15-20mph and was still sliding about. Very scary when its all hilly where i live and cars are sliding towards you in the opposite direction.

Lots of cars abandoned on the sides of the roads as well.
