Will try to post some pictures but there is at least 4 inches everywhere with drifts of upto 10 inches (and thats just in the street)

Not seen snow like this in the last 10 years - pity its not meant to last.

Walking to the pub it was just starting, by the time we left it was a blizzard

It's still going, the wind's calmed down a bit, though: must be a foot by now.

Where the hell did that lot come from, last night it was reasonably warm and dry and this morning without warning there is several inches of snow and it's still snowing.....should be fun in the BMW as it's the first time i will have been out in it when it's snowed must find myself a deserted car park.

First bit of decent snow we've had in ages. 3000 clubbers had to take shelter in clubs overnight because services failed to clear the roads, bet they're gutted.

I was supposed to start work at 9. Couldn't get a taxi, no firms even have any cars out this morning

Tried to start walking but it's about a foot deep and I have no shoes that would be able to cope with how slippery and wet it will be. To make things worse I'm home alone this weekend so I have no alternatives

never get any hear, just talking to my mum on MSN and she said 10 miles away it's very thick and it just suddenly clears like a line down the road.

We have a few inches, it's not so bad except the gritters aren't out and I can't go anywhere!

So odd to see it actually stick on the road here as I live on a main one! Made watching the night rally more fun though!
