it has a piston inside the cartridge that pushes the bullet out so no gas leaves the cartridge.

It's a Revolver FN Barracuda 38. Special.

It's been taped for years now. Makes it feel a lot more comfortable in my hand and gives better grip.

had a look on www.world.guns.ru good site quite interesting to read now and again, don't often stray into the pistols section though.
