So... recommend me some PS3 games!

Warhawk thread reminded me, you will need a USB or Bluetooth Headset for chat (Both RFOM and Warhawk will support it).

I have a Logitech USB headset. Reckon that will do? Windows auto detects the drivers for it so it must be relatively common.

Do you know if I can buy warhawk via the PSN with a debit card?

Resistance is about the only game that's floated my boat so far. Didn't really get on with Motorstorm. Felt like a glorified tech demo.

Other than that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is very good, but plays almost identical to Black. Everybody's Golf's available on import if you can live with the Jap text.

I'll be getting hold of Warhawk as soon as I've finished Blue Dragon..

Download the demo of Motorstorm when you get it! I personally really like Motorstorm and enjoy it thoroughly. Is a really good challenge.

Ninja Gaiden if you havnt already played it on the xbox but i wouldn't say its a major must have.I would say get Super Stardust off the PSN as its superb, i find it must better than Geometry Wars

Warhawk is absolutely fantastic!

I hope the PS3 doesn't disappoint you, give it some time and you'll grow to like it a lot. Don't expect too much from it.

Enjoy! Glad you getting one tbh.

Josh

EDIT- Virtua Fighter 5 or F1 if your into them. Very good aswell.

F1 - Very good game if your into F1, the commentary on it is reasonable, although can get repetitive, but *** fact that you have 22 cars on track is impressive.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma - Really good, although very very hard. Be prepared for a lot of swearing and cursing if you buy it

Virtua Fighter 5 - A great laugh with mates, but a bit too easy when your just against the computer

Gran Turismo: HD - Yes, its just a demo, but you have to get it if you like your racing games. It wipes the floor on Forza IMO.

UT3 on ps3 is the superior version, kb/m support and mod support and the money sony paid for exclusive rights for 6 months more or less guaranteed a better version.

It's not necessarily the superior version. KB/M doesn't make it better, I quite like a laugh, everything gets too serious with Mouse and Keyboard.

As for VF5, Board C version is being put to Xbox360 so that's the superior version, except the PS3 pad is better for fighting games.

I never said anything about vf5 and what version was superior, and yeah you can take or leave kb/m support but you can't deny the mod support, that might come to 360 if ms will allow the closed system that is live to support which is very unlikely atm.

They do, just not **** kiddy ones :p

Surprised you've been swayed into gettting one earlier than planned by one game, I hope Warhawk really is that good.

Like I said I'm a complete sucker for multiplayer goodness and I paid a fair price for it.

Warhawk had better be good or JUMPURS and knives are going to be sorry!

So I'll stick with GT:HD, warhawk and resistance for now :)

I've completed ninja gaiden and witth get VF5 and UT3 on the 360 but I'll keep an eye out for ratchet and clank.

Cheers guys

no you didn't, however Kreeeee said all multi-format games would be bought on Xbox360 so I was making it clear to him that the Xbox360 version of it was the superior one.

youll enjoy resistance online i reckon , its great 40 player with no lag :) have spent LOADS of hours on that

perfected console shooting with the sniper

I don't know where you students get the money from! ;)

Would be interested in your opinion on the ps3, compared to the 360

£112 a week during term time working weekends.

I'll give a brief overview of all 3 when I get the PS3 on Monday.

P.S. Who recommended the awesome 4.9er Lair? ;)
