The 5600 g is also on the charts so is relevant comparison.

Not much difference in gaming performance between 5700g and 5600g.

It is a really sad state when a 6+ year old GPU is even considered an option.

They’re not really. The cards Joxen is advising buying (terrible advice) are close to 10 years old. They might actually be 10 years old. No support and probably seen every crypto boom.

your not losing much on a £50 card even when reselling, my kids had a 660ti for fortnite and minecraft etc and now they have an RTX3080 so it's easy enough to upgrade if a decent card pops up for MSRP.

just seen MSI 6600 for £389 and standard Palit 3060 for £435, which are the bottom rung of modern gpu's, but a lot cheaper than anything I've seen recently other than FE cards

Have they updated/changed the review since you posted this link? I can't see any mention of the 600/700 series, the only gpus I see the 5700g tested against are the rx560, gtx 1050, 1050ti and 1650. The 5700g appears to be significantly slower than even something as modest as a 1050 (admittedly more so at 720p than 1080p).
You have to also consider that it's the 5700g being tested (which is still faster than the 5600g, even if only slightly), with PBO enabled on the cpu portion, and an overclock on the gpu portion, and ddr4-4000, with an x570 board being used, resulting in just about the best case scenario for an apu.
