So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

Poor win over forest today, but as they say, a win is a win. They didn't get a shot on target, I feel for their fans.... In fact, no I don't. Coyr!

not the usual defensive/physical game you whinge about though

I don't think I winge about Boro, unfortunately I'm in a position where I cannot be involved with hearing about them so I may as well put myself in a position where I can cast an opinion.
I never commented on their physical aspect neither but the Hull game was another game neither team wanted to lose so both pretty much sat back which you could class a a "usual defensive game", the lack of creativity from both teams is frankly a disgrace with what is on offer.
Hull should have won the game given the two clear cut chances, Boro created nothing, Rhodes gets no service at all. Adomah other than the assist at the end can't cross, he's never been able to cross, for all the good Nsue does his delivery again is pathetic. Ramirez looks ok, but again for a number 10 doesn't do enough to see openings and feed Rhodes. I'm not sure what the point of signing Rhodes was. Stick Clayton in a more attacking position and he can do some damage, before Boro he was getting in double figures for goals, such a waste making him pass square all day long.

Still such a lacklustre display but considering the inept teams around Boro I'm sure they will go up automatically. After the QPR game it's three easily winnable home games.

Our form over the last 14 games since Dean Smith took over - bearing in mind we were 8th at the time - is LLLLWLLLDWLLLL.

Also, the table since the turn of the year:

1 Burnley
2 Brighton and Hove A
3 Sheffield Wednesday
4 Cardiff City
5 Preston North End
6 Hull City
7 Bristol City
8 Birmingham City
9 Queens Park Rangers
10 Middlesbrough
11 Huddersfield Town
12 Ipswich Town
13 Rotherham United
14 Leeds United
15 Wolverhampton Wndrs
16 Blackburn Rovers
17 Reading
18 Nottingham Forest
19 Derby County
20 Milton Keynes Dons
21 Charlton Athletic
22 Fulham
23 Bolton Wanderers
24 Brentford

I'm trying not to get too despondent over the whole thing, however so many Bees fans are losing their bottle and it's a bit depressing to witness. I think we'll stay up based upon the poor forms of MK Dons and Fulham, but I've put £125 at 150/1 on us going down. Don't feel right betting against us, but thought I'd hedge at least.

Rhodes scores...
Boro 3-1 up away...
I'm dreaming right, or have Boro actually sorted themselves out?

It looks to be just QPR that can't defend simple crosses judging by the last two goals, they've been pretty poor defensively.

Great game today. Lovely sunshine, cracking atmosphere, thought we played really well. Just a shame we couldn't hold on. But then, Burnely did score more goals than us...

Something to ponder- Joey Barton did not even get a yellow card in the game!
