So, the three nominees for Player of the Year have been announced, and no real surprises as to who they are. What I would say, and this is said with full recognition of self-smugness, is that it's quite incredible that two of the three began the season for us and cost us combined less than £1m. We have the smallest turnover in the division by quite some margin, as well as being in the most costly area of the country to buy players, and we've secured second tier football for a third consecutive season for the firs time since WW2.

Bolton haven't looked so bad, still expect the depth of quality from Boro to win 1/2-0. Rhodes has been such a waste of a signing, will he start in the PL next season? I'd imagine you need to buy better and he will end up costing around 15m?!
