So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

****.

Last night was dreadful, and incredibly frustrating.

Wednesday started slowly (as per), but could not get going at all in the first half, despite this the MK Dons were poor in the first half too, having a lot of the ball and little pressure on them they were still unable to create much, be productive.

Second half, Wednesday were flying. Dominated the entire second half. Creating chance after chance. Throughout the match the MK Dons were poor, the time wasting was unbelievable, their goalkeeper was literally having a drink instead of taking goal kicks to time waste and got nothing more than a wave from the referee to hurry up...

Anyway; twenty shots, hit the cross bar twice, hit the post twice... just so frustrated that Wednesday could not take at least one chance.

The match finished on a bitter note too, the MK Dons had been awful all match, time wasting, kicking the ball away, etcetera... however while Foresteri was incorrectly booked for diving (it was an absolutely ridiculous booking, he was hacked down) the MK Dons tried to take a 'quick' free kick, although I have the feeling it was just more time wasting - anyway, resulted in Wallace being sent off. I didn't quite see it, but I did see the MK Dons player in a mid air like somersault and pretend to be quite literally on the verge of death. The referee had made his mind up about the red card before talking to his officials (despite not seeing the incident at all, as he was arguing about the dive), he went for his pocket, then engaged in a conversation with the officials and then sent Wallace off.

Following this, the MK Dons bench were going mental over every decision against Wednesday asking for more cards, the referee had no control over the game for the final 15-20 minutes. The MK Dons bench were arguing with the crowd and then a Wednesday fan punched / pushed a player on the bench, which resulted in the bench punching stewards and the MK Dons manager wading in to the crowd to argue with a woman (who had literally done nothing but it was easier than arguing with the blokes I suppose). Not condoning what the crowd did (I sit close to the dugout), but the MK Dons bench were guilty of bad behaviour towards the crowd too. Expect Wednesday will get some sort of fine over it.

Lee Bullen went postal at the end of the match too, the referee was (once again) absolutely terrible.

I cannot fathom how English football can have delusions about being an elite European league while maintaining such a poor level of officials. Officials which, at times, look amateur.

Strange tactics by MK Dons then considering they really needed to win, they were probably hoping to keep it tight and nick a goal. No real harm done anyway with Cardiff losing, it's just a case of going into the playoffs in the best possible shape now.

We're pretty much safe now thanks to Neil Warnock, another season of Championship football secured.

I wish people would stop saying with absolute certainty that the Burnley result won't hurt us, that result could quite easily define our season.

Either way, it's still all in our hands.

Simply, if we win all 3 of our games we will go up, but I honestly worry we are in form slightly early and a loss to Boro will put us in the playoff after a loss, which might end our run, similar to 3 years ago when we were by far the form team going in, but lost badly.

Everyone talking about the last game, but I hope they don't take their eyes off the next 2 . Derby at home isn't easy, and Charlton apparently haven't been too bad lately.

Whatever happens, Knockaert must be the signing of the season. He is brilliant. Easily the best winger in the league imo.... £1m!

I'm very much looking forward to us hopefully officially relegating them back to League One this week. I din't particularly like the club and think the Championship would be better off without them. That said, it's poor form for players/staff on the bench to be physically assaulted by the crowd. Not saying that it's in anyway indicative of Wednesday fans' attitude, more just the individual involved losing the plot, but it's simply not very good.

It's going to be tight, but you've got a good manager with a cool head and I reckon he'll be able to see you through the play-offs if you miss out on automatic promotion. Would be great to see BHA in the Premiership. Derby are looking ok, Wednesday aren't on their best form and Hull barely look like the team they were 6 months ago.

Boro and Burnley seem to be winning/drawing with the odd goal in it sometimes, whilst we are winning 4-0, 5-0, 3-1 etc....Got a bad feeling about this

Interesting game at Charlton yesterday. Charlton played really well, even at 3-1 up I felt nervous..

Really hoping that Brighton don't have to go through the play-offs. Just realised I've got tickets for the Manic Street Preachers in London on the same day as the 2nd leg :(

Leicester fan, so pleased for knockaert. He seems like a great lad and he's been brilliant this season. Hope to see him with you in the prem next year.

I'd also like to see boro go up, but both going up automatically seems unlikely given the final day fixture. Burnley to collapse please :p

Championship has been fantastic as always.

I'm less confident about Boro's chances than I was this time last week... neither of the last two games are easy :(
