So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

Newcastle have had the 2 red cards from the other day rescinded https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/806188966450003972

I wonder what happens if those 3 points end up affecting things at the end of the season.

If I was part of Newcastle's management I'd be looking in to legal action tbh. The referee was shockingly biased. It wasn't even concealed. The fact that both the cards have been rescinded is evidence enough of this.

The question is who can it be taken against? The referee? The league for providing said referee? It's a difficult one and one that I imagine there's some legal background to stop it happening all the time whenever a ref is shown to have gotten something wrong.

There is however a difference between a mistake and what is obvious cheating.

It's something I always think about; especially if you're a foreign owner of a club and see such poor refereeing displays, I've always presumed there is some sort of 'law' within the Football Association that prevents legal action based against officials about results et cetera.

I would find a case absolutely fascinating though.

Some of the referee's decisions absolutely make a huge impact upon the game.

Well, considering statistics show that certain clubs receive refereeing bias I'm still surprised there hasn't been something done.

Was another Newcastle themed classic. It was absolutely and unequivocally a penalty, but as was said at the time by Shearer when interviewed- Alan Shearer receive a penalty at the Stretford end of old Trafford...not before hell freezes over.

Never seen a team defend set pieces so poor tonight, really rubbish game. Did okay with ten men but we couldn't muster anything up attacking wise. Brighton players love to go down mind.

Poor game. Very easy. Leeds were no threat at all. Did they have a shot?

Why does that Janson guy think everything is so hilarious?!

Also, Andy hinchcliffe us appalling. Has no clue whatsoever.

Yeah we had a shot when Wood should have scored :p

Easy game because you played vs 10 for 60 minutes, you didn't really do much other than two pens.

Jansson is a character, quality player.

.... What did we need to do? :p

I was saying how good Leeds looked the other day, but tonight they were awful. You could use going down to ten men as an excuse if you want, but really it wouldn't have made much difference. If that guy hadn't have been sent off it still would have been 1-0 and quite comfortable.

That Janson does look good, but every time they cut to him he was laughing his head off!

Good win for Newcastle yesterday, we needed a result as we we are hitting the Xmas silly season and momentum will count for a lot in this month.

We were poor overall, especially in attack. However, we have to take positive that Brighton never really looked like carving us apart (like last season!).

Onward and upwards. :)

Good result tonight. Shane Duffy scored his first goal for us...against Blackburn. You couldn't make it up!

Also Gordon Greer got sent off. Strange night for the fans!

Jaap Stam is a bit bitter, Reading had something stupid like 75% possession yesterday, I would say the majority of that was between their back four, it was ridiculous. Stam is crying because the fans were shouting "boring, boring Reading" - I'm sure his own fans took part in that. What happened with actually trying to score a goal?

Gary Rowett gone. Strange one. What more do they expect? They are going along nicely.

Could be good timing for us though...A win on Saturday away at Birmingham would be a big one.
