I wear a baseball cap, nothing branded or sporty though. Couldn't care less what anyone thinks. Keeps the sun of the top of my head and face.

Dlock is young and after the young girls, we are after the educated mature hunnies :p

I went 10 steps ahead in my mind and waiting for that other kind of "head" wear to be posted now

As I've said i'm too old for branding, I still shake my head at 50 year olds wearing super dry jackets and 501's

I had to Google Super Dry jackets, and I thought, no thanks, but at 81 I still wear Lee, Wrangler, and Levi’s.
I have plenty of barnet, cut short, a 34” waist, and a laid back but confident attitude though, perhaps this helps.
My elder son, 58, shakes his head and mutters, “What ARE you like dad?”
His younger brother, 55, says, “You’d like to look that good now, you melt, leave dad alone.”

Sorry for double post, tried to delete one, but couldn’t see how, J-F

I think we should petition for a geriatric corner of the forum, as a safe space for the older people to discuss zip off trouser shorts, trilbys and the price of petrol. I would also petition that Jean-F stays with us young folk.

Thank you for your kind words young sir, you are obviously a person of some discernment, however, FWIW I have zero interest in zip off trouser shorts, nor trilby hats.
In addition, I have only minimal interest in the price of petrol, 30 years of driving a London Black Cab saw me retiring in 2012, about a dollar bill behind Bernard Arnault.

This is a ridiculous opinion (and pretty stereotyping). Personally I think any flat caps / Panama hats etc make the wearer look like an OAP. Beanies are purely for winter or skiing.
How can you consciously write the second sentence, after getting triggered enough to write the first?:cry:
