So this is uni.....

Speaking of hours, i've somehow managed to box all my 3rd year units into two days a week this term. It's almost as if it were still the holidays.

If only.

really though, make sure you do study hard after your first year and pass every module.

I made silly mistakes when I was in my 2nd + 3rd year now I have to retake 2 modules. It's my 4th year starting and it does not feel good at all seeing people around you are graduates.

I wish i had passed the 2 modules i failed :(

Damn right - I spent Fresher's week getting girls' numbers. There's no girlz on my course

I could have told you that before you went, CSN sucks for girls, broader subjects are full of em ;)

There's a couple in CS...I know because I say through a CS lecture by mistake last week.....but they don't really compare to the ones popping up in some modules (folk from a few places in there...mech, engineering, few other CS courses...quite a range:D)

Computer Systems And Networks mate. Absoloutly right, 0 girls. But to be honest, if you joined a computer course looking for women, you're making a mistake :p

When i did CSE, we had some of the CS lot in our lectures. Anyway, there were a couple of birds, but they were all rough as the toilet paper in the uni accommodation!

This was officially my 2nd day at uni. All last week was a long and boring induction. Unlike some here i've been given a lot of work already. I was given an essay on my first day (yesterday) which had to be in this morning and then I was given some group work which we have to have in next Tuesday. Next Tuesday I also have to give a 5 minute presentation! There's also a lot of reading up to be done. I thought the first few weeks of uni would have been easy, but obviously I was wrong. I was in for a 2hr lecture yesterday and I had lectures from 9am - 5pm today with only a 1hr break for lunch. Tomorrow isn't much different when i'm in from 10am - 5pm. I have Fridays of though which is some compensation or should I say time to do some of the work :(.

EDIT: On the plus side there's like 16 girls in my class and only 6 lads :)

The guy in my flat who has become my best mate, is a big stoner. So I get toasties and stuff at 3 am

That was a good thing about moving to business, went from lecture theatres full of trenchcoats and emo haircuts to lecture theatres full of girls.

It's all good ;)

If you want to meet girls, do English, Law or Photography. These courses are chick magnets.

Been there 2 days and ive already gotta do a presentation next week :p Theyve also chucked us in at the deep end and got straight on with it, no messing about. The data modelling module has got me slightly confused, but tis only because its new and im not used to it yet.

Already done more written work in 2 days (as in by hand writing) than i did all year in college. Its quite nice being in alecture theatre really, sitting in front of my screen at college got a litle tedious sometimes.

No girls in my group, and only about 5 or 6 out of the entire first year out of ~200 :(

Nah i'm good thanks mate :p Came to university to further my education and as a life experience. I think I can handle not meeting girls in my lectures there's plently of time elsewhere for that!

Seriously though I couldn't get involved with a girl on my course if things went **** up it most definately would not be worth the HASSLE.

I personally wish I did Law with French, or something long those lines at my university. :o
