So whats the best frozen pizza?

I'm sure that I used to buy Dr Oetkers for £1 each 3-4 years ago. Fair bit more now. They are very nice..

Yeah sorry, I didn't realise it was that hard to keep a frozen bag of spinach to some to the pizza just before you put it in the oven ;).

Where did I say it was hard? That method makes it taste disgusting also. Spinach isn't like other ingredients, you can't get the same effect as other pizzas where toppings are able to be dunked ontop. You gotta do stuff, first, again, this takes time.

mushrooms dont belong on pizzas =[

Kill him!

Every now and again, Lidl do pizzas packs for £1, I got four ham and mushroom jobbies for £2 the other day.

people who love the dr oetker ones honestly try the aldi premium 1.99 ones.

dr oetker ristourante ones where my fav for years till i found them

Dr.Oetker Pizza Ristorante Pollo - love it, "A unique pizza. Fine slices of chicken breast with a delightful mix of spinach, sun-ripened tomatoes and cheese" ... tastes a lot different from any other frozen pizza i've had and doesn't leave me feeling sick after it.

Tastes best cold, like most pizza.

I've seen the production line used to produce chicago town products, never touched a frozen pizza since

To be fair, if you went to a sandwich/wrap production line, or inside some chefs kitchens you and I would probably think the same thing.

I've always been a fan of Chicago Town but i've not had frozen pizza's for ages :( Our little greezer we got a while back can't seem to fit them in :'(

Unfortunately they only sell (sold?) them in Germany. Lovely kebab taste and a nice sauce on them.

I also miss the Heinz Baked Bean pizzas in the UK that seemed to disappear while I lived abroad.

Ugh, haven't had a frozen pizza that wasn't bland and 'orrible. By far the best supermarket pizza I get is the mozerella and sundried tomatoes fresh one from Tesco. Then I add some garlic mushrooms, parma ham, onions and peppers. It's damn awesome.

In extra-lazy moments, the spicy chicken fresh pizza from morrisons is ok. At least they use fresh ingredients from the shop, unlike ASDA, where they seem to come out of vacuum packs!

Tesco used to do a *Finest one with cherry tomatoes and various types of meat, but they seem to have stopped doing them round here :(

Anyone else think that no frozen pizza is complete without a couple of fried eggs on top and additional grated cheese?

Dr Oetker Ristorante Pizza Speciale

It is above anything else on the market. By a fair margin. That said, it is not cheap and it is not as filling as some other competitors.

Why?

The crust/bread is very thin. It won't gloat. It is not dense. It won't make you feel like you want to explode after you finish your pizza.

It doesn't have any edge. You eat the whole pizza without leaving bits and pieces.

The amount of spices and herbs are just enough. Most pizzas add too much flavours to the pizza you actually don't get to taste the actual pizza.

It is got plenty of toppings. Salami, peperoni, ham, mushrooms, cheese, tomato, oregano, basil, mozzarella. It used to be even better but they have reduced the amount of cheese and a slice of salami (down to 5 from 6) since last year unfortunately :(
