So what's up with this?

I guess it depends if you care if your system gets screwed. If there is nothing of value or any personal / sensitive data e.c.t then it probably dosnt matter. But you are a fool if you use it for important things unprotected.

i cant help but feel bad for nate on this one.
id be sooo ****** off if someone went and installed stuff on my laptop.
you guys should lay off him a bit eh, its not like he's decided to have a go at you for using AV software. you've started on him for no reason! lol
nate's fair being nice in his replies to your remarks but your just being nasty. shame on you all. lol
btw i think you should be using a lite antivirus tool or summin at least. :) but u never asked so who gives a damn
lol

No ghosting doesn't mean you used Norton Ghost there are lots of programs to use.

LOL well I used True Acronis Image not Norton.

I imagine it's because you are using the word "Ghost" instead of Clone or Re-image. Technically Norton Ghost is the only ghosting program out there, Like Hoover is to Vacuum Cleaners :p

Anyway, it's your choice about the AV software.
Personally if I was in a warzone, I'd wear a Kevlar vest than just a T-Shirt, even if I didn't get shot at. Some people don't want to take needless risks, others don't want to be slowed down.
