Tried one, didnt like it, stuck with my current machine.

Apart from f@h and the odd encode (i used to do loads) there is no need for it.
The heatoutput was rather nice, warmed my room quickly.
Sticking with my x2 till native quad core and 2nd gen dx10 cards or more lightly than not, when the itch to upgrade can no longer be resisted. :rolleyes::D

Intels quadcore really doesnt look exciting, I can imagine it being a godsend to me when I'm rendering using Maya or mental ray. However, I just can't afford to spend that much on a CPU right now :D
