Essentially this. Get some good friends as opposed to ones that abandon you when they enter a relationship. Good friends are hard to find though.

Just start painting warhammer models they'll come back with some kind of intervention at some point, but be prepared to play the long game.

Most of my friends have settled down too. One has a child, with another on the way, and the other few good friends from college have serious girlfriends, so will probably be up the duff soon. Don't see much of them. Me being put on 6 months of nights at work hasn't helped social matters much.

I guess people, and life changes.
