Dunno where else to ask this, I'm getting an i5 but don't plan on overclocking it, would the stock cooler do a good job?
Stock cooler will be fine on an i5 if you dont want to overclock.

Seriously I don't come on here looking for a text battle, I just try and help people out.
I know this sounds Noobish but how do you check your temps?
Any anyone know what cooler I can buy so I can overclock my 860 to 4.0 Ghz?
Very nice, it's cheap as well. Hmm
Whats your CPU FPO (on the box)
Core Temp or other utility by your motherboard manufacturer.
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 if you want to stay on air.
Yawn. BTW one hour of Prime 95 is meaningless. Minimum proof of temp is 8 hours
Not bad at all, what paste did you use? Arctic Silver 5?4.1GHz, just over 8 and a half hours prime stable, temps no more than 76. This cooler is very impressive for the price it's got to be said, regardless of what fitting attatchment it has![]()
