Quarter of the sky is cloud in Bristol rest is clear, and guess which corner? Haha Just under an hour, so still hope

Cloud is clearing reasonably fast. Gone from total thick cloud cover to sunny spots. Come in cloud **** off some more.

I'm not sure the sun is up in London yet. I can't see it...

Oh wait, it's just the heavy cloud, I guess it's behind there somewhere... Which ways East again?

Was predicted around a 93% eclipse in the North East, however with the current cloud cover it's currently at 100%...If I didn't know the direction the sun rose from I'd struggle to find it in the sky this morning.

My wife is a Primary school teacher and had prepared a pinhole camera style blackout box....going to be 30 very uninspired children at this rate
