Solar eclipse to plunge Britain into darkness - March 20th

I can remember exactly where I was for the 1999 one!

Unfortunately I haven't got any glasses :(. Bought both the local rag and the Telegraph today, and neither had glasses in them. I'm sure that last time there were loads of free glasses about?

You won't likely see another eclipse of this magnitude in your lifetime again, so why not.

Oh man, just go traveling.
I want to see a total eclipse, and there will be one in America in 2017, with greatest eclipse in Kentucky, so might try and get over there.
See if I can coincide with some rocket launches and make a road trip out of it.

But unfortunately most happen over sea, even if it passes over land, then you miss the total eclipse like us tomorrow.

NASA has some great maps. In 20 year intervals. In fact that north America one seems to be the only sensible (unless you take to the sea or extreme environments like poles) total eclipse until 2024 in Mexico and 2027 in egypt.
