Solar panel production figures

We got a measly 2.9kwh yesterday, today it looks like it could be better, especially as i'm currently pulling 5.04kw from our 4.7kw array:) i've noticed if the sun is "right" we seem to be getting over it's "rated" capacity for short periods at about mid day with reasonable frequency. I've actually seen it hit 5.2ish a few times for maybe 5 minutes at a time (the inverter is 5kw).
My guess is the panels are rated to guarantee they'll meet the output in 10 years as per the warranty, so are actually slightly over to begin with, and i'm really glad we didn't go with either of the two quotes that were going to use a 3.7kw inverter.

Its the present temperature that get the panels over excited and producing more than rated output, by mid summer they will get hot enough to drop the output some. Make hay while the sun shines ;)

@Werewolf The panels are cold, then the sun comes out bright and you get a nice big spike until they warm up. Last week I was getting peaks of over 8kW, array is 8.74kW. On Monday when it was really nice and sunny, it didn't get anywhere near that, but I generated 40kWh.

18kwh today

Really surprising as we had far more sun than forecast seemed to indicate. Was probably 60% sun at a guess

So month is 282 and within 18 of 300. Still 60 down on month forecast but maybe that will drop below 50 tomorrow

Monday forecast right now is pure sun. Based on today that could be easily 25kwh.
Depending on how that goes I may finally start to drop my overnight charge a little.

13.2kWh today. Battery up to 77% which should last until tomorrow evening, but the next two days are looking poor.

Turned out better than I had anticipated.

Broken Feb total. Despite the weather over 350kWh in March so far, but not expecting much tomorrow.

15.2kWh. There was a sunny burst about 7pm and was still above the horizon! The longer evenings are going to be very welcome if the sun wants to stay out and play.

I hadn't thought of that.

We ended up with 14.7 today which given the weather is pretty amazing.
Still got about 25% (1.5kwh) left in the battery at the moment.
