Solar panel production figures

For me March looked like

407.7kWh generated

330.3 self consumed ( 146.3 directly, 184 via battery )

77.4 exported to grid

104.2 imported.

5.3kWh panels, 9.9 battery ( 9 usable )

My system was out of action for the 2nd week of March. Stats being:

470 generated
140 directly consumed
170 via battery
36 imported
160 exported (for free right now!)

90% self sufficient. See I can beat that in April before the EV arrives late May…

408 generated for March against an estimate of 508. Not a clue on export figures, modbus meters don't work very well when they are full of water. Missed a day and a half whilst all the external electrics were redone, but that only missed out on another few kWh.

Weather looking much better here as well from tomorrow onwards.

Been working on my Node Red solar prediction, now have a bar graph with all systems combined.

yesterday 10.6 and month 293 so basically 50 below forecast.
Over 60 up on Feb though and considering the weather not too unhappy with that.

I guess its having a west facing array now the sun is higher and actually practically going due west before it goes down that the comparative loss of west facing compared to south is reduced.

360 for March which isn't bad considering I had shading on my bottom string for the first week or so. If last September is anything to go by I should be getting 550 to 600 kwh with battery filling pretty much every day with some luck.

Solcast thought that today was going to be really good as of last night, but revised down massively this morning.

Glad I ignored it and charged to 100% because today hasn't even been as good as yesterday was, forecast thinks may get a little sun, hopefully do so I can at least extend the battery further.

Shame as I like to get a bit more freedom to use more power on a weekend day, and this weekend hasn't been that good.

Same here.

Finally a good day. Four of the last five have been under 5kWh.

The combination of cool temperatures and sunshine seem to be allowing output far higher than rated. We have 12x 400w Sharp panels (4.8kW) but consistently seem to be getting above 5kW today with a peak of 5.33kW. Is this common as the "rated" spec is at a warmer temperature?
