Solar panel production figures

@hooj That must be quite an old system given that you're getting 60p per kWh. You've also shown the worst six months of the year, between now and September you'll earn very nicely out of it. There are two parts to FITS payments, the 60p which is paid for every single kWh you generate, and the export payment, the 4.25p. You are on 50% deemed export. If you move to an Octopus export tariff you will still get the 60p generation payments, but the deemed export payments will be replaced by metered export payments paid at whatever rate the tariff pays.

You probably want to consider getting an AC connected battery - fur further info look at this thread.

First day in a week i'm not entering flux period with full batteries. Should be about 85%, so enough to dump for 3 hours.

Mine finally got back to 100% by mid-day, although they did get charged to 93% by 5am, then dropped to 76% by 9am and then slowly started charging.Already exported 15kWh.

i messed up my charging from the grid in my flux hrs so ended up using 3kwh from grid.
typically the sun is out now. I needn't have bothered. batteries fully charged now and 2kwh sent to the grid. oh well it's a learning experience on a new system .

It's very frustrating when that happens...

Cornwall was lovely today. 17,5kWh batteries charged by half 12 (although they started this morning at 40%) and about 25kWh generated, got lucky today down here. Yesterday was perfect, made me want more batteries.

Look at Flux instead if not on an old FiT scheme. Get paid quite nicely for export so battery size at a certain point doesn't necessarily matter.

I only wish I had a little more battery so I could store and export at a higher rate during peak time, but it's only a nice to have.

What a cack day indeed, after the record breaking of yesterday……..just a tad over 4kwhs at the moment
Woah! That's some difference - 45kwh+ today for me!

@Ron-ski will be pleased to know I had a couple of solar guys around yesterday to size up the roof for fitting extra panels.....

Speaking hypothetically of course, but it's a 3-pronged assault. Aerial (Seagulls), Ground (squirrels) and Special Op forces (as yet unknown to you).

Not orchestrated at all, honest!

It seems the special Op forces arrived today, not quite sure they took out the intended target though, or did my spies intercept their orders? ;)

No idea why the neighbours decided to cut the tree down, it was a rather large tree, which did cast a late afternoon shadow on the garage, probably more so in the winter though, by the time I came home from work it was completely gone.

Nice, don't forget to let us know all the details, are you adding more inverters?

Yeah, guys initial thoughts are they are going to install the second inverter and then run two extra strings of panels to it, but they need to measure up etc first!
