Solar panel production figures

Something weird going on with the gaffs data, can see they have a baseline of generation at a few hundred watts all day long even when the sun is gone!
Pretty sure he's mentioned it on here before, believe it's the way it reports generation when using energy stored in the battery. How that works if the battery is charged from the grid I've no idea.

Decided to bite the bullet and get the ioatawatt sensor for my solar and export…….cost a few bucks, but the efergy sensor only does incoming solar and thats it and i wanted to track import, solar and export. So gone for it as it has lots of options for graphing etc etc and connects with the energy integration with HA too.

Looks like a solid product, for UK folk looks like an import job.

Nice, where did you pick it up from and how much it run ya? Found their store where you could buy clamps and plugs but not the unit itself

Edit
Found one store but it comes with just 2 mains sensors.
Its coming from smartguys in australia, bare unit as already have about 6 or 7 ct clamps here £186 with delivery

Looks like around 22.5kwhs for today and just went out with my long hose and full power nozzle and managed to get the right angle to give my panels a wash off with all the pollen covering them. May get a few extra watts tmrw now lol

need 27kwhs over the next two days to break 500

Just to say, I was advised you should not wash your panels with tap water. Although I guess where you live will make a lot of difference.
If you wash panels with tap water you risk covering them in calcium as the water evaporates.
What water do you wash them with then? We are in a soft water area

Serious?

I did see a telescopic kit in lidl the other day and was rather tempted. They do look like a quick rinse would do them good.

24kwh generated
21kwh exported

2kwh imported.

not as good a day today but good enough for me. it will be tight but still on schedule to match my energy exported with my energy imported for the year at the end of June (midway point of the year)

I will let you know - which store had them with two main sensors?? And how much???

iotsmarttechs $249

Distilled/Purified water is usually recommended.

Edit
Might as well take a punt at this, anybody in the essex area have a 5kw south facing system, would be interesting to see generation.
