No I would rather have the rain dump properly over the valleys instead of continuing on over the sea and creeping all day over here
We not had any since last night……its gone from here now, time for the sunshiiiiiiiiiiineNo I would rather have the rain dump properly over the valleys instead of continuing on over the sea and creeping all day over here
Dont you get it from north wales, rather from south east wales…….i mean any dregs from the valleys would drop in mid and west wales before getting across to ireland. We had no rain.. just welsh dregs. The valleys let me down today!
in May i exported over 400kwhs....which was was nearly more than i imported in jan, feb and march alone. so far this year i have imported 652kwhs and exported 900kwhs.9:15am and my electricity import and standing charge for the day is already covered by my export..... at this rate by 11am our gas import and standing charge will also be covered, leaving the rest for pure profit
i am counting down ready to take a screen shot of when my import for the year exactly matches my export. i am currently 80kwh off so its possible in the next week i will be at that point, meaning i will technically have generated all the energy i have needed to use (albeit due to battery size limitations i could never go off grid).
my goal for this year was to finish the year at that point........ (where import </= to my export) however that wont happen now as i have an EV. once autumn comes and if i move over to IO my electricity use is going to soar.
i couldnt judge on yesterday as it was pretty cloudy all day, with the odd spell of good sun, but it was never clear cloudless productionCongrats, looking this morning mine are about 50% cleaner than they were.
Really doesn't seem to make much difference from what I saw yesterday after the rain.

yeh i did check mine and the bird poo and pollen was all gone......we upto 5kwhs today already. Could we bust past the elusive 24kwhs.Yeah I was the same I had flashes of decent sun but was hard to see if they were clean or not. This morning I can see they are far cleaner, but they need a more significant shower to fully rinse them off. They are kind of streaky now as opposed to looking covered in dust, little bits of bird poop, feathers and catkins (from trees out the front)
Annoyingly we've had no rain in the east since the start of May - my poor panels need a wash - just an hour heavy downpour would be lovely thanksYeah I was the same I had flashes of decent sun but was hard to see if they were clean or not.
