Solar panel production figures

Completed my first year of Solar, just under 4 MWh produced, had there been 2 extra days of sunshine I would have hit 4000. Quite a bit over the production estimates from the people who installed it so not complaining about that. 2 strings, one with 6 panels south facing and the other with 6 panels west facing.

so what size is the system??

i agree.....we not got anywhere near peak production today, we seem to have topped out at around 2.9 and now already dropping off to 2.4

I am tracking slightly down (about 3%) on my record day. But my peak isn't until around 3:30pm now so will see how they compare then.
Most days since the record have been imperfect and spikes can go to 6kw if panels are cold and sun has been covered.

Humph.... :p

Well production certainly improved today
:p

Generation 55.61, and still a little coming in, 53.85 exported, with 20.67kWh exported between 16:00 and 19:00

That's 33.23kWh net returned to the grid for the day.

yesterday was 39.8kWh in the end, hoping today I break 40

Need to work out how I can create a card in HA to show the highest generation for the day so far

have a look at platform statistics. I've used them to create an entity that shows my maximum value over the previous 24 hours. This is created in my configuration.yaml
e.g.

sensor:
- platform: statistics
name: "PV Max Last 24 hours"
entity_id: sensor.solis_ac_output_total_power
state_characteristic: value_max
max_age:
hours:24
sampling_size: 288

An almost perfect day, just a little cloud mid-morning. 31.5kWh generated and 16.3kWh exported.

I can't help but think this is going to be the best spell of the summer and Flux export still shows no signs of being set up. :(

Did 26 yesterday.

Still have not beaten 27, I think the added heat offsets the slightly longer light hours when its like this. What you need is as cold (as possible) but completely clear day about now and you might be on to break records.
