Solar panel production figures

Possibly not the overall but more cloud over the valleys would help potentially!

pvout I need to add January's data but will do the full month now we are nearly done with January.

50 so far but I think December wont be caught. Too many bleak days in comparison to the rest of the UK but my main inhibitor is the low sun angle where my roof on other part of the house shades the W panels too much.

5.6kwh here today not bad for half my panels shaded most of the day and no optimisers. roll on 10 or so days time when one of my strings will be fully in the sun again!

That's really good. Much higher than the 1.044 you're showing on PVOutput.
I think thats a daily average, rather than actual monthly efficiency. I mean if youve produced 106kwh off a 3.24 system, then it goes without saying that effiency must be higher than 1.044

ok…the reason pv shows 1.044, is because they use the daily average generation, which is 3.372 and not actual monthly generation figure.

were as my figure is using the total generated for the month/system size

PVOutput is generated as such: (Generation/Days)/SystemSize. Based on your numbers above you're at 1.2583 for the 26 days of January so far. So you're right your efficiency is higher than 1.044. Unfortunately a little lower than 32.77.

PVOutput will need a whole year to get an accurate efficience figure. Anybody joining the league in the winter, like us, will see their efficience numbers increase as our generation goes up.

thats incorrect....as thats average efficiency, not actual efficiency.....

So my daily average is 4.08kwhs / System size = 1.26....... but i'm calculating total production/system size which is 106 / 3.24 = 32.77 kwh/kw. so during the month of january each kilowatt of panels has created 32.77 kwh of electricity ( by the way thats how @Ron-ski calculated it for our league table)

Hope that clears up the issue

as per this picture - its average efficiency
