Solar panel production figures

Be safe @Freefaller :)

OK generation over now. New record, 33.9kWh.

Thank you. I had 3 points of contact and I have a flat roof adjacent to the 2 roofs from an extension. The ladder was locked in place and I used my window cleaning extendable poles so wasn't really in a precarious situation. However you're spot on to warn about climbing on roofs and not something I would ever recommend without the right gear. I should have taken before and after pics. They've gone from brown back to deep black. And my god there was a thick coating of dust on it. Next time I get panels fitted I'm going to investigate a water spraying system for them! :D

I dont have them telescopic poles but I might invest in them if the dry periods seem to be regular enough. It only takes about a week without rain and you can see the pollen, dust and other debris eventually coats them enough to impact some performance. I think the breeze today meant it kept the panels cool enough than usual and the hose down I gave them a few days back got the most out of them. Single storey house helps.

The bird poo doesn't help either.

yesterday was great, another record of 43.3kWh generated, 27kW exported.

Today isnt going to be as high I think, but still got a load of washing to switch on today, so export will be less. just got to time everything correctly.

Yesterday was 56.78kWh with 53.5 exported.

Today is going to be significantly lower, around half as my consumer unit is being changed, and therefore the SolarEdge system isn't working.
Well even that reduction doesn't give some of us a chance to beat you ;)
Mine was 21.2kWh generated @ 7.22 efficiency, 9.4kWh exported and my batteries topped up to 20kWh.

Cooler night so less battery used, batteries fully charged and perfect curve so far. Usage definitely up since being back having the AC running day and night to keep the house nice and cool, but still a lot of export.

Last 2 months, got my days in a row above 40 out as one adjusted down after I posted preivously, but pretty much every day I was on holiday (20th May - 12th June) I had amazing production. always the way when you're not there it gives you the most.

Best month to date was my first back in July 2022 with 999.93kWh... so well on target to smash that, be good to get to 1100kWh :D
