Solar panel production figures

Currently lashing it down, oddly even though the cloud barely let the sun perform I got 9.8kWh overall. Up until 4pm I was thinking a double digit gen day.

11.9 here. Sun brightened up late in the day but only for about half hour. Longer hours are definitely being felt now with the generation starting earlier and finishing later. Was still fairly light here at 6.30 considering how cloudy it was. Think I might get my octopus move going now with the clocks going out next week.

Well, that's a bit of a major gaff then ;)
Hey, figured I’d join the pub group to compare similar systems having watched for a while and just installed my own.

You are correct I have a battery, it’s DC so the API just sees it as generation with no way of splitting it out. Happy to leave if that’s not what your wanting in the data.

@the gaff There's possibly a way to fix it, Whats the system and hows it setup, also how are you getting the data to PV Output?
SolarEdge inverter with a SolarEdge battery.

It feeds into the pvoutput via the SolarEdge api. I could perhaps in time look to extract the data elsewhere and then just link the daily generation element.

Hope the welsh valleys are having an early start too!

Want the current weather to stick around as long as possible, forecast gives rain later.

the answer to that is NO....we have some large clouds lingering around, we get the odd little peak of sun and then off it goes again......currently at 0.4wkhs.

This is the weather for the next few hours...and see that cloud sat on the sun, thats sat on my solar panel, i'm 100% sure of it lol

Promising start to the day, sat at 3.3kW power already. Solcast is predicting over 30kWh today, but has already started to trend downwards. As per normal, the weather forecast today is for rain.

How odd, could be a SolarEdge issue or PV Output. I have SolarEdge PV but no battery on that system, sometimes the totals don't quite tally.

It's not an issue, but would be nice to get the figures correct, don't know if it's worth emailing SE support or if there is a PV Output forum you could ask on.

Posting now as the weather so grim no chance of production left today. 15.7kWh. The rain hit 4pm, was a great start till about 11am when it got choppy onwards.

21.4kWh here today. The highest since we got the panels in late-January.

The battery was full by 10.30am, so we exported nearly 10kWh. This makes me annoyed as we're still waiting for an export MPAN so we can get paid for it.

Managed to use just 14kWh from the grid in the last 10 days. Our usage is about 10-11kWh per day so its a saving of £3 a day at the moment even without the feed-in.

12.4 today, was clear for a few hours in the middle of the day, but overcast start and clouded over about 1:30pm.

The weather needs to start getting better though, last completely clear day was 20th February.

Great morning with 20kWh by 12.20, patchy afternoon putting on another 10kWh. Finally have everything set up with Octopus for my export. Now just waiting on a modbus meter repair/replacement (It thinks I exported 81kWH today).
