Solar panel production figures

Just 8kWh today, thought I may have to charge the battery a bit to see us through the peak period, but in the end we had enough, but now down to 15%, it was charge to 60% in the cheap period this morning.

It is the closest I have come to not needing the grid on Tuesday. Only 0.2kWh required. It's bright sun right now and I'm home alone today so there is a good chance this might be by first "free" day. The battery is currently on 44% too so that should help.

Today's weather forecast was bad, sun first thing then clouds and rain.
Currently been mainly sunny and 8.3kWh generated so far, with today's peak power at 6691 watts so far.

Sun, rain, Sun! going along at 4.2kW currently. Typical the day i'm not home to put things on to use up the excess.

11.8kWh. Was at work all day so not sure how it played out cloud wise but looked like better than the forecast said, will take that.

13.3 kWh today.

Was completely clear till about 10am then sunny spells, best day so far this year fir me I think, I'm still waiting for a completely clear day.......

Due to latest Solax server update my last couple of days were compromised reporting so I have downloaded and filled in the blanks with readings from either side of the gaps
Gives a far more accurate number I think so revising Weds to 9.38kwh and yesterday 10.82

Falling well short of month target now. Would need 17 a day which is possible but weather says, nah buddy no chance

Hopefully might get close to 300, im at 205 roughly so its a stretch but not impossible with a couple of half decent days.
Based on Feb, I am 30kwh ahead at this point and with 3 extra days in March it also supports around 300 being in touch as long as no disaster days.

Lovely and sunny here right now, but West facing and rain coming later apparently.
West facing array at 8:15am over 300w though, shows that once the sun is a bit stronger you can generate a half decent amount all day.

So Spring has finally arrived and the Solar production has starting to ramp up us.

I'm starting the day with my home storage battery at 82%
Already got the washing machine & dishwasher on. I'll get the car plugged in after the school run and the water heating will likely start after lunch.

With half a day of sun i'm now running 'off grid' and 'off gas', with some free EV miles in there too :)

I've definitely noticed despite the grim weather that production is more predictable and steady. It's generally "brighter". Still not as good as Feb yet but March has been the 2nd best production in 6 months.

I have 2 3kw batteries. I can add another 2 more and am considering adding at least one , to bring me up to 9kw. On a good day, even with a relatively small system (4150) my batteries are charged by midday, and that is without using any decent tariffs to charge them overnight. I am really surprised how effective it is. Payback is still a significant time, but given that we have no plans to move that is not a massive issue.
