Solar panels and battery - any real world reccomendations?

They'll probably all blow away in the next Hurricane anyway!
We didn’t have our system installed for Ian, but we took a direct hit and everyone else's panels stayed on their roofs. Three of my neighbors have solar systems, and I also looked as I drove around the larger area when work started back up. We are a decent amount inland so while it was a direct hit, Ian had to cross >25 miles of land first. (We still took over 130mph winds.)

I've broken my December record already with 383kWh generated so far. My previous December high was 369kWh last year and tomorrow is forecast to be sunny all day so I should be over 400 by the end of the month.

Oh and I added my system to the team on PVoutput but delete me if it's not allowed! I hadn't looked at my account for ages, I'm missing some data from after my inverter was replaced for some reason but it seems to be working now...

8.8KW today, currently the best for december so far for me.

Has strong bright sun hitting the panels from about 11am until sunset

edit: Rechecked output figures, was higher that I had

What was your target warrior???
97.7
A bit specific I know, but was based on a flexed typical curve I found on the web. Will be able to start rounding in some numbers as I get full months.

However my neighbours roof to the South directly blocks the sun a fair portion of the time which it wont do again soon so suspect I will see a jump in a couple of weeks

MTD so far is 82.97kwh

2.11 today. 14.73 short of my Dec target so expectations are going to have to be lowered for Dec returns I suspect
Your targets good, and you should easily exceed it, its just been a bad December. With my 4kw array I've had 122,106,103,121,95,71,83, thats 2016 through to now. So this December is well down on 2016 through to 2020, with only December 2021 being lower.

Yeh this my first year and im so far at 84.6 with my 3.2 system……hoping to break 85 tmrw

Cheers, I know its going to be variable per year, but my neighbours roof started clipping the mid day sun on around the 11th Dec, so its going to be around the end of Dec/very early Jan thats fixed. Since 2/3 of Dec will see this clipping I think its probably inevitable that my Dec figure will be lower than a typical profile.
It should only basically apply to Dec though, I can clearly see its almost stopped clipping so give it a few days and I think it will be direct line of sight again. My generation curve looks like a double bell curve in effect, it ramps up then drops for about 45 minutes then jumps up until drops when the sun goes down. Unfortunately the dip is around 12:30-1:15 give or take 15 minutes so worst possible time on a west facing array basically.

I'm starting to become tempted to discuss a south facing array wall mounted. So panels on max 20 cm gap from wall, should go and measure up to see what sort of number I could get. Would be easy access to everything thats already in place.
Although I don't think existing inverter would be able to take any more so would probably need another inverter.
