Some new avatars?

All they are is a visual guide to post count/rank whatever.

Start makign them Male and female just leads to sad hormone ridden teenagers fapping to posts.

Anyone that reads this forum enough will know the lady posters.

I find it utterly cringe worthy when someone gets stalked by a bunch of rampant geeks when they work out or she says, yes i have my reproductive organs on the inside...

You said it can't possibly have a negative effect, I'm telling you it is a possibility. I "keep banging on about what the female members think" because it's a change that is likely to affect them proportionally more than any other members.

So if the gender of the person who gets to use the avatar is unimportant (according to the reasons this thread was started it mattered but you're obviously taking a different tack) then all you're really asking for is more avatars - why pick female ones? There's more notable male gangsters who are as yet unused than female ones. By all means ask for more avatars but bear in mind it was about 6 years from the Big Nuke to getting two further avatars added so there may be a bit of a lengthy lead time before any new ones appear.
 
I only really notice sigs and that is the opportunity for the girls to fem it up if they want.

I do find it funny when the horde gets collective wood for the odd girl who crops up on here.
 
I don't even browse the forums with Avatars turned on and I only look at the username after judging the merits of the post. If posters want to reveal themselves as female they make it quite clear with nonsense posts that the male population of the forum are quick to pander to (when an equivalent topic/post from a male would see them ridiculed). The ones with posts worth reading probably wouldn't even want the female avatar.
 
I dont think it makes any difference what picture is on the avatar, I read the posts not look at the pictures (learnt that in infant school :P )
I can only imagine this poses an issue to anyone who feels the need to prove they arent a man, but in all honesty this is a forum who cares what is between your legs :)
I guess to sum it up, I like the forum and "If it aint broke, dont fix it"

Well your post count is right there to see too, not hard to read some numbers.

Personally i think the avatars are crap on this forum.. but hey ho thats just my opinion :p
