More power please! That's nowhere near enough.

And since when have you had to use a handbrake to provoke a J turn? Everytime I've done it I've never even wondered near the handbrake. Very tidy they can be achieved, then again, my cars heavy noses do aid in this.

- Reverse at a speed of around 15 - 30mph
- Steer hard to the right
- Stop accelerating and turn the wheel to the left simultaneously
- Before the car turns a full 180 degrees, put the car into 1st gear and
- accelerate hard

Nice XR by the way - used to be a very tidy black one here in Coventry, was always good to see it out blatting about. Sounded quite fruity too

You'll do yourself an injury. Power to weight is irrelevant at the end of the day as it's an almost useless statistic on its own. Aerodynamics, torque, traction and a whole host of other elements have to be considered.

Dont sell it!!

Had a mk2 fiesta 1400s as my first car and loved it,spent a fortune on the thing - 15inch stealths,respray,suspension,1600cvh engine,big bore

(hides in embarrassment)...

Still got a mk2 now though.Started off as a 1.1 auto but im slowly turning it in to my track car (kinda taken a back seat the last few years since getting my rx though).
Dont have many pics of it but just to show how mint it is hear is a few.

Absolutly solid underneath..Not one bit of rust at all.

Amazing cars..

Gearing is another factor to consider.

I know of a 620BHP truck that won't crack 50MPH, its geared however to pull 180 tonnes!
Equally a mate of mine has a 220BHP Scania 17 tonner that will pull 70MPH+ easily!

Nice Fez, been across to the XROC yet?. Got an XR2 spec Fiesta van sat in a lockup garage (minus engine) thats been sat there for god knows how long...also got a complete 130BHP Mk5 XR3i at work to rob interior/exterior parts off for the wifes Escort cabby...mmm...

My uncle Richard reshelled his rotten XR2 with a brown van shell years ago (1992?) and sold it around '95.
