All the hardware is for the people that work with him, not for himself. And as anyone who works in or closely with media and production, there's only one format they use - Apple.
So when he hires the next bright young thing straight out of college, he doesn't want to be presented with blank looks when he plonks him down in front of some Dell...
Typing this on my PC btw (all our designers use Macs though).
Mac vs Windows, well done gents, this has never been done before.

The point is if e had run with windows based system, no one would accuse him gay for Bill Gates so why call him a fanboy because he had Apple gear?
Money is irrelevant. For all you know, he could have gone for Apple because his accountant told him he has a big tax bill but he could spend it on some gear an write that off.
Or simply he is loaded in cash, the extra 10% over a windows system is worth it for him. Hell, he could be an aesthetic snob and loved the look of Apple Design and design alone.
Either way, it's his money. Using cost as a reason to go Windows is a reason I never get, who says he is on a budget anyway?
Forget pros and cons for each, sometimes you only need 1 reason:-
Because I want to.![]()
