Sony a7r2 thread

I hear what your saying guys and I know the size difference isn't all that great, obviously there are other reasons to look at an A7rii (42mp, IBIS, etc), I do miss the 36mp of my D800 at times, for what I shoot it looks like it would be awesome!

I've had M4/3, X-Trans and hated both, IQ wise they just aren't there, although Fuji might be better with more Megapixels in the sensor.

The Sony full frames aren't much lighter than DSLRs but they are less bulky. Especially if just carrying it without a lens on. Which I've done several times through airports and just popped in my pocket with a lens in the other. Couldn't do that with my previous DSLRs.

Yep, that's exactly what I found. After buying an A7II, I was a little disappointed with the weight. However because of how less bulky it was compared to my old Nikon I very rarely use a strap now I find myself shooting more as the camera is always "at the ready" so to speak.

Not sure if you are interested, but this thread has some RAW files shot with the A7RII http://www.sonyalphaforum.com/topic/1256-a7rii-first-impressions-thread-incl-raw-downloads/
