Ok bit over the top there but im happy :D
This weeks PSN Euro update info has been released IGN said that the demo should hit all territories simultaneously.

The following content will be uploaded onto the Euro PSN store on Thursday 26th July:

PS One games:
- Crash 2
- Spyro 2
- Medievil
- Wipeout 2097

PS3 Demos:
- Heavenly Sword

PS3 Trailers:
- Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
- GT5 Prologue

Wipeout 2097 i loved that game! All good stuff i think any way I cant wait !Seems like Sony has decided that they have a Euro PSN store so it may give it a some goodies!

Live puts classics on (or that's the aim), where as Sony put older games on that people remember. I can see why people would compare them, but in actual fact they aren't that similar.

Sony however have a grasp on sensible pricing (oh the irony) on their online service where as Microsoft don't.

So you can't see the similarities between PSN and Live software marketplaces? Back to school for you.
I can see the similarities for the other games, retro etc but the PS1 games are exactly that - PS1 games, which were just supposed to be played on the PSP until a recent firmware update.

Why does everything have to be a bleeding comparison between 360 and PS3?

I *think* they are £4.99

Probably £3.49. That is how much Wipeout and Crash Bandicoot the other ps1 games are which are already available.

The pricing on the UK store seems to be:

£3.49 for ps1 games
£1.99 for arcade ports

On US Store it is:

$5.99 for ps1 games
$4.99 for arcade ports.

The exception is that Castlevania game for ps1 which is $9.99 !!
Then Tekken 5 is $19.99 and only £6.99 for UK

All the other original games vary in price on both stores.

Overall I think the UK gets better pricing on PSN but ultimately we have to wait longer for the content.

Very nice, now if only I could find Crash 1 on the PSN store again as I had to delete it cuz it continually crashed on one part, then when I went to go download it again, it wasnt on the store, which was great to find out... :p, if anyone can help with that, that'd be nice

but back on topic, I cant wait for some of those ps1 games! oh and Heavenly Sword! :D :p

I might just be tempted to buy wipeout when I finish ninja gaiden.

One question though if I buy it from the store will I be able to play it on the ps3 without hassle????

iirc if you go to my account, then something like account activity(?) then it will show you what you have downloaded, you can download it again from there.

It should work fine - you're buying it from the PS3 store

In theory anyway ;)
