**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

The Z3 is some £150 more expensive than the z3c! I can get a Z2 for £299 however. I just thought the camera on the z3c was a little pants to be honest but I have a feeling I didn't give it enough of a chance!

To be honest there's minimal difference between the Z2 and Z3 I think that the screen tech is slightly improved and Sony put in a 801AC SD instead of using the 801AB SD. Battery however on the Z2 is 100mAh more than the Z3. It all depends on the size of the phone you are looking for and what you'd use it for.

The camera is excellent Mate I don't think you spent enough time with it. The manual mode is superb.

I wouldn't rate the camera that good for just point and shoot. its better in manual but by the time you've messed with settings you've lost the shot. this is the main reason im considering an s6 as apart from the camera the phones spot on

This is my concern, the camera is one of the big things on a phone for me!

The z2 is £299 in argos. The rest of them are rain forest prices! I use my phone a lot at work during breaks and lunch to browse forums etc now so perhaps a bigger size screen would be beneficial to me!

You don't need to mess with the settings in manual mode each time. You only need to go into manual mode once, set your chosen parameters and then simply launch the camera using a shortcut so it launches into manual mode each time remembering the last settings.

I use:

Metering: Multi.
Focus: Touch.
ISO: Auto.
EV: -1.
Image Stabiliser: On (this is for low light use which produces less noise).

That's it, the photos it produces have always been more than acceptable.

Just picked up a z3 it was either this or the note 4 but having this in my hand I think I made the right choice its stunning and light too.

Had a lg g2 for the last few months to get myself used to android and only just put lollipop on my g2 today and it changed the handset for the better. Just going through a million updates.

I cant really trudge through the 80+ pages but I need a decent case, magnetic charging station and the ps4play cradle and suggestions etc

I recently had an S6 for a few days before sending it back. The camera is clearly better, *but* the biggest difference I found was in the level of detail when zooming into pictures. The camera software was better too, but I find the Z3 'ok' in that respect.

so ive just ordered my phone. its being delivered tomorrow.

what accessories is good to get? does it comes with a magnetic charger?

ideally id like a decent screen protector, case and a dock or charger thing.

64gb card ordered aswell

If its like the z3 compact mate it comes with a screen protector in the box :)

I think that you lot have convinced me enough to get one of these as my next phone.

Also has anyone had any problems with the phones build quality?

Rear tempered glass arrived today, for £3 it seems pretty good. The edge isn't as smoothly rounded off like the PThink one on the front but that doesn't matter for the back really.
