*** Sony Xperia Z5 ***

Whoah that uswitch deal works out at £460 total for the £17.50 package. I could then use the sim in the car as a backup data sim for sat nav or something.

Question is, are uswitch handsets branded o2 or are they like cpw and simply retail aim free handsets? If the latter then I'll be jumping onboard I reckon at that price.

the £15.50 works out £422 total

Possible to pay the phone plan and cancel the contract within 14 days? ;)

I assume i'll be able to play on my PlayStation using the Z5 as a screen using remote play? TBH thats at least 95% of the reason for swapping from my Nexus 5 to an Xperia phone.

The z3 compact was perfect size for me, if the camera was half decent I'd still have it as it was otherwise perfect for me.

Same here kitch9...while I love my S6 Edge I do miss the Compact...the battery life and size were perfect...in regards to the Z5 Compact it's the camera I still need to be convinced about! :)

If/when it drops to around £300/350 then I'll have a decision to make.

In terms of playing games on phones, how will the extra ram in the Z5 and Z5 Premium compare to the Z5C? Is 2Gb enough and 3Gb overkill on phones? I agree with comments about the Z5C being a nice size. I don't really want a phone that's 5"+.

Thank you :)

2Gb is enough, I'm currently doing Android game development and 2GB will be fine for a while yet.

Hello so I've had my HTC One M7 for 2 years now and don't really have any issues with it but the camera is starting to irritate me with how bad it is. It's upgrade time but I've gone to SIM only for the meantime because although I love HTCs, the new One just feels way too big for me to carry around everywhere.

I like the look of the Z5 Compact as the camera should be a massive improvement to what I'm used to and the screen is actually a similar size to the One while the total phone size is smaller. Only thing I'm worried about is the resolution of the screen. I read stuff on my phone a lot and going from 1080 x 1920 to 720 x 1280 may offend my eyes.

Also is Sony brand Android any good? I personally don't like Samsungs UI and can't stand iOS. HTC Sense brings me back every time, I've had a HTC for 6 years now.

What do you guys think? :p

I'm disappointed it doesn't have wireless charging.

That said I've played with Sony in the past (Z3 for example) and the android version isn't too diluted and the battery life is not too bad.

It would be one of the few phones to take me away from my Nexus I think.

When it comes to res, you'll not be able to tell in all honesty. It'll make you realise how fruitless the race to ultra high pixel counts is.
