The Verizon Z3v has 100mAh bigger battery, thicker frame and less desirable (more akin to the Z2 form factor). It also has worse battery life than the Z3 the rest of the world got. For all intents and purposes, I think Sony's choice was technical rather than stubbornness to adopt wireless charging.

Amazon have been quoting October 8th since they where put up for pre-order a few weeks back. I have also seen another place quoting October 5th.

CPW says delivery by the 6th - question is will the Z3's drop in price when the Z5 launches and by how much because so far, it doesn't look like the Z5's impending launch within 2 weeks has had much of an effect

I'm also hoping for a drop. I missed the Argos deal when they were £315 as I would have probably of bitten.

Well expedite electronics and simply electronics (Same company) sell the Z3 D6653 atm for 288 and 291. HK version which is banded for 4G on EE/Three but not O2/Vodafone

if you look at the Edge it started at 675 in May and now 450 in Sep - 30% drop in 3 months. I don't think we'll see the same drop in the Z5 personally as it looks like the Xperia series tend to hold their value better than the samsung's. There's still Z2's retailing for 275!

really? they're on TCB and 1000+ posts on avforums - generally excellent feedback. Curious, what and where have you read they're dodgy? Wanna make sure before I order

My z3 is in perfect condition, how much am I likely to get for it 2nd hand and is now a good time to sell before the price drops further? I have the money so ideally want to know the best time to keep upgrading phones. Ty
