How likely are we to see RAW support in this at a later stage?
@mrk Dude have you cancelled your 6P order? If so are you tempted by the Z5 seeing as you already have a Z3?
I'm still on the fence mate! The pros of the Z5 outweigh the pros of the 6P for my usage, the most important ones being IPX rated and Quick Charge without having to buy a stock charger for £20 each.
I didn't think the Z5 or Compact represented a direct upgrade for those who have a Z3 version before having had a play with the demo model Compact the other day, but now that I've seen the new videos and put the pros and cons side by side, it is a small upgrade mostly in the camera and aesthetic department, as well as quick chsrge. Sony will release M within 8 weeks of it coming out like they did with 5.1 I'm sure.
It's a tough choice, I could wait but then again I really want a new gadget

Haha we're in the same boat...
I have the Z3... and I love the size and battery life... but having just taken it on holiday I find the camera just isn't up to scratch...specifically with noise and dynamic range being issues...not to mention focus times. Z5 looks like a significant upgrade in the camera department, and the fingerprint implementation is perfect... but its a £300 upgrade...and I'm not sure that its worth THAT much. Which is why I have my 6P on order...but then I have a feeling I'm going to get tired of that sized device... Gah Android!
I'm feeling the same regarding the camera on the Z3, took a day trip out yesterday and reviewing the photos it's just not quite up to scratch, I have been temped to upgrade, but then for the price of the upgrade I could grab myself an entry level SLR which would blow both of them out of the water picture quality wise, ummmmm, decisions decisions....

I know what you mean. Having looked at the Z5 it's not much different to the Z3 and although the latter was the best device I had owned for a long time, I find it very hard to shell out another £530 for the Z5 as the SD820 devices will be out fairly shortly.
I want a new gadget too....my addiction to shiny new gadgets is Insatiable!
Got mine setting up in my desk. Only things in the box were a 1.5amp charger, cable, instructions, phone and a screen protector. Pretty big compared to my HTC One m7. But I thought my One m was big compared to my GS2 so I'll get used to it.

Have you both tried manual mode? Admittedly it won't totally transform the photos you take but you should notice an improvement.
