*** Sony Xperia Z5 ***

Just been into cpw and they had the white one with the dumb print out display stuck on it, have they changed the back of it from the glass? It looked matte and didn't feel as nice compared to the z3
 
Finally tracked them down.
Graphite colour definitely the best IMO.

Part of me wants the Z5 and part of me wants the compact as its the same size of my current phone.
Do wish the Z5 had slimmer bezels and was a bit shorter.

Bit strange as in my box there was a cable, instructions, headphones and the phone... no screen protector or wall plug :(

Regy - sorry but I didn't have the weather today to try and replicate your picture.
I have to say I am loving the phone. the fingerprint scanner works a treat and the phone just feels nice to hold.
Might look into a screen protector, not sure if I want the official flip cover as I don't want to ruin the look of it!

What cases are you guys going for? Got my graphite Z5 coming on Monday and want to have a tempered glass screen protector on it and it in a minimalist case before I start taking it to work with me.
 
Got my Z5 today. Surprised that you can now enable 23mpx shots in superior auto mode. Seems every portrait shot wants to make the shots softer.
Haven't had much chance to play with it yet but quite enjoying it.
 
Aaaaand.... It's going back. Overheating is much worse than the Z3 Compact was, using the camera for just a couple of minutes and its shut down with the overheating warning. Extremely disappointed in Sony yet again.

What are you trying to do, no sign of that on my Z5c or any reviews I've read?

Are you trying to install your apps whilst filming 4k or something?

Just started recording a 4K video on my Z5 Compact and it's being going for 7 mins and there is no sign of shutting down from overheating yet and the Phone is in a plastic case.

It is getting warm mind you but I can't see myself taking many 4K videos over 5 mins any time soon.

Loving my Z5 Compact :)
 
Deciding whether I should take the plunge lol
I'm doubting I'll be able to grab it for £440 or cheaper new anytime soon

If only I could get it down to the 300s lol. Then I'd be definitely on board

Had it when using the camera for a couple of minutes in manual mode and then taking a 3 minute 4k video. Took it back to CPW this afternoon and they asked me to show them the problem, happened again within 3 minutes of just using the camera. They tried it on another Z5 and same thing. This is with absolutely nothing else running on the phone.
