Soreen

Love the stuff. Like most, I just have it with salted butter but the butter has to be about half the thickness of the slice :D
 
I freaking love Soreen. Haven't had it in ages though. :(

I love it plain or with butter. This talk of having it hot/toasted is crazy TBH.
 
Love this stuff. I shouldn't, but lashings of butter on this and wolf the lot down.

Try a knife with a jagged edge if you aren't already?.

i purposely don't buy it anymore as I just can't help but eat the whole thing with butter in one go!!!

A "bread" knife with serrated edge and let the knife cut the loaf, don't push the knife, let it cut.
 
I have to buy it sliced, my son insists on eating about half a loaf of it a day and if it isn't sliced I end up squashing until it's about an inch high :(
 
I know the 'malt lust' takes over when you see the packet, but by holding back momentarily and reaching for a serrated knife, you will have all you need to slice however thick you wish your Soreen with ease.
 
My first impression of Soreen was "ooooo look cake" .......I was greatly disappointed. Same result with "ooooo look Dandilion and Burdock" ......It might look like Coca Cola..........again, I was greatly disappointed.

My dad loves it and so does my girlfriend, but then, they both like marmite too lol
 
Love it! Haven't had it in years though, may have to hunt some down when I do the shopping tomorrow :D and a pack of proper butter to go with it :o
