Sorry Yewen, I think I just found a case better looking that a ATC.

I really don't see all this fascination with the cases guys, I used to be a bit like that, considering £170 of ATC-200 case, and eventually buying a PC-60 for like £110 and selling it a while back.

As far as I'm concerned the case doesn't really matter in a build. As long as it has the features you need such as drive bays / fan mounts etc, and isn't built like junk, and doesn't look too offensive, then that's all it needs to do. My next build is going in a Chieftec mATX case which cost about £30. An expensive case would probably be the last thing I'd spend money on in a computer setup, considering you can get a very nice monitor for what some of these cost.

Though I suppose if you have that much money left over for a build . .

If you have the money; why not!

There was a discussion on this a few weeks back, and it was basically, if you have the money left over for a nice case; it just complements the idea of a nice expensive pc.

It also seperates you from a factory built system a bit more.

Each to there own though! I do not see why people pay more than £200 on a graphics card, but i only play strategy games, and they are not that taxing usually.

OcUK should pay for the safety certification in return for exclusive rights to distribute the case in the UK/EU. Get their fingers in the Intelectual Property pie.

I really can't see them making any sort of return on it once they've paid for the testing. There isn't a huge market for these, and I doubt they'd break even.

Testings not an unreasonable amount of money - particularly when OcUK would be in a position to state the period which they want exclusivity, there is a market for these cases, you only have to look at sales for Silverstone & LianLi. If the EU market wasn't viable - they wouldn't be in it.

But a Lian-Li can be had for much less than these people are asking for cases. I've no doubt there's a European market somewhere for these, but not if it's exclusively through OcUK.

Interesting cases no doubt, but Id still rather have an ATC anyday. Not too sure about the designs, they seem a bit fussy, and none as clean as an ATC. Some very nice features though! :)

Quality, design, functionality and most other areas of tech imo.

Suman

Building a metal box isn't technology though.

Although I respect your opinion about you wanting a ATC. I dont agree with you saying these cases are too "fussy".

Clean lines, and the only fussy bit is the bolts. Which IMO look great.

Oh, dont get me wrong, its all opinion! - we're all looking at these cases from a completly aesthetic view. Im not a fan of the chrome looking bolts, but thats just me. They do have clean lines, but not sure I like the designs of some of them.

Still, new to the market is always good - I dont want an ATC either anymore, I have a 110 now :)

The PC with the 100% mesh side panels though is superb

They show potential, although the bolts do look a bit nasty!

But they may be able to be anodised and replaced. Price will be the make or break on these.

Also for the note Alu_ATC I sold the 201b :)

Yep I think that looks nice too :) .

Wow you must like ATC's :D .

Alu_ATC and maybe Harib0 are the only people who have a bigger passion for them than me :P

Although I challenge anyone to have a bigger passion than me for Lian Li.

So I am a sucker for a brand name; but at least its a good brand :D

Well done on the 201b Yewen, I think that became a bit of a cursed case for you by the end!

Yewen is very knowlegable about ATC's and Lian Li's especially - but my passion for ATC's is just about on parr, lol. Although Yewen, since seeing your Lian Li in the flesh... I want one :p I also want to get my hands on a TJ07. The Sugo has me tempted too, although a little different from what I usually go for!

Too many cases and not enough systems to fit in them! :D

Haha I am addictive!

The sugo is a nice case, you need to speak to Randomtom about them, he has one and is quite wised up in there ways.

We are all nutters for some things!

And cursed case was a bit of a understatement, although I did do it up a bit since you had a look at it.

The CE marking is only an issue to the Japanese. Several items that OcUK sell are not CE marked, the Thermaltake power supplies were not CE marked a few months ago certainly. Neither I think are Tagan, but again, things change.

Nice find Noni, some really stylish designs I agree, and the quality looks respectable too. Would love to see these available in the UK.
